The African Development Organization is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that aims to uplift communities in Africa through our charitable initiatives. Our work focuses on providing education, facilitating access to clean water, supporting skills development programs, and assisting in the aftermath of conflicts and natural disasters.

Our mission is to extend a helping hand to those in need, fostering positive transformation in the lives of the less fortunate. Rooted in Islamic principles, we strive to provide holistic support through education, food, pure water, character building, and skills development programs, with a commitment to making a lasting impact on individuals, venerable groups such as Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Widows and communities.
Our Story —
Founded with a vision to uplift the lives of underprivileged communities, African Development Organization started its journey in the late 1990s in Malawi. With a strong commitment to Islamic values, the organization aimed to address crucial issues such as poverty, lack of education, and access to basic amenities.
The organization’s founders, driven by their faith and a deep sense of compassion, ventured into remote areas across Africa to provide much-needed assistance to those in need. Through their dedication and tireless efforts, they established schools, madrasas, and mosques, ensuring quality education and spiritual enlightenment.
Over the years, African Development Organization has been recognized globally for its impactful work. The organization has received numerous awards and accolades for its contributions in areas like education, disaster relief, and community development. These honors motivate us to continue our mission and make a lasting difference in the lives of the disadvantaged.
